Survival Rate of Recipients of Cadaveric-Donor Kidneys in the Transplant unit of Imam Reza Hospital, Tabriz, during the Last Five Years

Background and Objective: Determining the efficiency of kidney transplantation, survival rate patients after surgery, role factors affecting this is particular importance. The present study aimed to assess recipients cadaveric-donor kidneys in transplant unit Imam Reza (AS) Hospital Tabriz during last five years. Materials Methods: This descriptive-analytical was conducted on kidneys. data were collected from documents donor patients, evaluation blood urine tests, follow-up. required examinations included height, weight, body mass index, age recipient donor, group, RH recipient, donor-recipient kinship, duration dialysis, year patient survival, other drugs (aspirin, heart, hypertension, cholesterol-lowering medications). Results: In study, rates transplantation at 1, 2, 3, 5 years 97%, 90.9%, 79.1%, 67%, respectively. Moreover, 5-year reported as 98%, 95.5%, 90.9% 87.4%, Furthermore, gender not significantly correlated with renal survival. Conclusion: Kidney most appropriate treatment option for end-stage disease leading better improved quality life.
